New Beginnings: Our First Oyster Seeds are in the Water
Big news here at Dan's Gulf Coast Oysters—our first batch of oyster seeds has officially arrived, and they’re now settling into the water! We couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.

It’s been a long journey to get here, literally. We traveled from South Florida all the way to Alabama to pick up the seeds from the hatchery, and then drove them all the way to Galveston Bay. These tiny seeds, which almost look like coarse sand, are the start of something amazing.
Since this is our first run, we’re keeping a close eye on them, even though they aren’t going anywhere. It’s thrilling to think that these tiny creatures will one day grow into the delicious, sustainable oysters we’re passionate about producing. If this trial run is successful, we’ll be building many more tanks and continuing to expand.
We can’t wait to see these oysters grow and eventually share them with all of you. Here’s to the start of something big!
